Who we are
PROTQ is a candidate sourcing service for recruiting agencies, operated by Alpine Hire (“we”, “us”). If you have any question about this policy or your information, email hello@protq.com.
What we collect
When you send a brief through our form, we collect:
- your agency email address;
- the job description and any notes you add;
- the plan you said you are interested in, if any;
- a request ID and the time you submitted it.
Please do not include confidential client details or candidates’ personal data in your brief. Our hosting provider may also record basic technical data, such as IP address and browser type, in server logs used for security and troubleshooting. This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies.
How we use it
We use your information to review your brief, confirm scope and timing with you, carry out and deliver the search, answer your questions and, if you choose a paid plan, provide that service. We do not sell your information, and we do not share your brief with anyone except the service providers listed below.
Candidate information
To fulfil a search, we review publicly available professional information, such as public profiles, portfolios and published work, and assess it against the brief. The resulting shortlist is shared only with the agency that requested it. We do not contact candidates. If you believe your information appears in a PROTQ shortlist and you want to access, correct or delete it, email hello@protq.com.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of providers who process data on our behalf: Railway for hosting and our database, Mailgun for sending request notifications, and Google Workspace for email. These providers may store or process data in other countries.
How long we keep it
We keep requests for as long as we need them to handle your search, follow up with you and keep ordinary business records. We delete them when they are no longer needed, or sooner if you ask, unless the law requires us to keep them.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete your information, or to stop using it, by emailing hello@protq.com. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections to this site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please share only what the search needs.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
